Sephora Fall 2016 VIB Sale Top 10 Recommendations

Sephora Fall 2016 VIB Sale Top 10 Recommendations

It's that time of year again! The 20% off sale for Sephora VIB and VIB Rouge members. This year the sale for VIB Rouge members runs from Nov. 4 - Nov. 7. I'm not sure when it will start for VIB members. When it comes to this annual sale, I usually like to go with:

1) items that are generally out of my comfort zone price-wise,

2) items I know and love and are most likely repurchases, and

3) items I've heard good things about, and am curious to play with and test out.

But for the purposes of this post, my list below are all things that first fit under category #2 and then #1 because I couldn't recommend something in good conscience that I haven't already used and absolutely love.

Here are my Top 10 recommendations for the sale:

1) Viseart Eyeshadow Palette in 01 Neutral Matte // $80 > $64

This is an absolute staple in every makeup lover's collection! All matte shades in universally flattering and neutral colors. I'm always reaching for mine to round out other palettes. The price is normally a deterent for most, but at $64 it's fairly comparable to others on the market, and the quality far outshines most!

2) Tom Ford Soleil Contouring Compact in The Afternooner // $108 > $86.40

Another item that is quite expensive, and honestly still fairly expensive after the discount. But I love every single pan in this compact. It was the perfect companion on weekend getaways this past summer. And I got complimented on my skin every single time I wore it!

3) Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows // $21 > $16.80

I just recently fell in love with these shadows. I took the plunge and purchased a slew of them to try them out, and they are amazing. I don't have a dud in the 12 shades that I purchased and they're all different finishes and colors.

4) Tom Ford Skin Illuminator in Fire Lust // $72 > $57.60

I had no idea how much I was going to love this product. I add one pump into foundation and it instantly gives me a radiance that is unparalleled. It gives my skin warmth, glow and a lit-from-within aura. I purchased this when it was first released a few years back and only recently did it turn bad. So, I'll definitely be repurchasing this.

5) Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water // $39 > $31.20

I first tried this cleanser a few years ago when a Barneys SA recommended it. I had never heard of the brand, or use a water product for cleansing. I bought a bottle and some wipes, and haven't used anything ever since. It's my first step to cleaning my face every night, and occasionally I use it in the mornings if I need a freshen up.

6) Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Powder Foundation // $62 > $49.60

Flawless! There's no other word to describe this powder foundation. I love how easy it is to use. When I'm feeling lazy and a liquid foundation seems daunting, I powder some of this on over concealer and am done!

7) Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser // $40 or $78 > $32 or $62.40

I recently started using this cleanser and love it. I was worried my sensitive skin would react badly to the exfoliating bits, but it's so gentle but cleans effectively with an amazingly fresh grapefruit scent. I use it probably 5 out of 7 days and love it. My only complaint is that the smaller bottle's pump is too small. It dispenses barely any product and I've resorted to unscrewing the whole thing and pouring it in my hands. Very unsanitary. I'll be repurchasing the larger size for the bigger pump.

8) Surratt Beauty Surreal Real Skin Foundation Wand // $65 > $52

I have grown to really adore this foundation. I loved it when I first used it, but appreciate it more and more with every application. It is really like a second skin and it takes a few minutes to really reach its full potential. It settles into the skin and evens out fine lines, smooths out imperfections and really gives a lovely finish to the skin.

9) Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm // $110 > $88

Initially I was suspect of this product. The smell was odd, the color was a turn off, but I've come to like the smell which is a very organic aroma. It is very hard to describe, but it's almost like tree bark, mushrooms and tea all mixed together. But this is such a wonderful cleansing balm. It cleanses well and leaves my skin feeling soft. Often I feel cleansing balms leave a film on my skin, but not this one.

10) Verso Skincare Reviving Eye Mask With Retinol 8 // $55 > $44

No other eye mask immediately de-puffs my eyes like these. You see the difference immediately. I keep mine in the refrigerator and use them on particularly bad days - mornings where I've had too much salt the night before, or during allergy season. I leave these on for about 15 minutes and the puffiness is gone and my under eye skin is smooth. Miracle workers!

Happy shopping everyone!! And to receive additional money back, don't forget to sign up for Ebates (link on right). I hope you find some great buys and I can't wait to see what you end up purchasing! I'll be sure to post what I bought very soon after November 4th. xoxo
